Ammo Resupply Exploit

I believe I found an Ammo Resupply exploit between turns during my Moscow Campaign on Turn 7.

I set View Enemy Turn to off,

After I hit End Turn, the screen sits there while I can see some of the Enemy Units taking their turn on the minimap,
right before the next turn screen popped up I thought it was my turn
and clicked on my Hummel and the Half Track Rocket thing, and Resupplied their ammo.

Then the next turn window popped up, and now they both have ammo and a movement. (Which they shouldn't be able to because they just resupplied.)

Seems like a processing issue before the next turn window is shown.

I turned off 'show enemy movement' and 'show enemy attack'...
But I can't recreate this issue... as soon as you hit end turn the whole interface changes, all the buttons like supply are removed and replaced with "AI IS PLAYING"
I can't click on units or use the 'supply' hotkey of S either.

Are you playing the most up to date version? On your main menu when you first launch the game, what does the text at the very bottom say?

RC4 July 1st

It happened after Turn 6, I had stepped away from the computer and when I came back I saw my units and clicked on the Ammo Resupply. I don't remember if the AI Processing Bar was in progress, I do remember that it was before the next turn window.

I just tried reproducing it with the save I had right after that, and I could not. The turn screen comes up very fast except for that one turn.

Just to be clear.

Units had an action on turn 7, movement and firing.
Units were activated again to resupply.
Units have full actions and full supply available on turn 8.

Is this something you can exploit at will? Try to do it again for this current turn, does it work 100% of the time?

No I can not exploit it at will, as mentioned above. I reloaded the same save, and tried to click the unit. However the New Turn Window comes up fast and I cannot reload my unit after firing it in the same turn.

So it seems like a random quirk. I will try from my Turn 1 Save Game.

While you're on the subject of supply: Logistics is a critical component of Operational Level Warfare. Yey I have easily resupplyed/reconstituted paratroopers behind enemy lines. Germany's early successes in Russia were primarily due to breaking through their front lines and enveloping them. Main Supply Routes (MSRs) need to be explicitly represented in the game to provide supply sources; and means on cutting units off from those sources.

I have seen units move in the mini map too. It doesn't always happen.

When I do see it, it's at the beginning of the scenario for the first couple of turns.
