Playing as Allies with FOW off, I note that the three at-start German subs at Konigsberg, Kiel and North Atlantic are nowhere to be found? This is true for both CEAW and GS 2.0 1939 scenarios. I was wondering why I wasn't seeing any U-boat activity until I tried turning FOW off and checking.

Even with FOW off, u-boats remain hidden until they attack or until you run into them.

OK if you say so. I have yet to run into them or see them attack into 1940. I will press on and see what happens.

Update. OK made contact with a U-boat in late 1940 finally.
