I may be getting old but am finding it a little tough, allied units seem to hit harder than my units in general. Norway, was always a tough nut on the old game but finding that the Norwegians fight very hard and the royal navy seems to hit harder than the kreigsmarine equivalents.

Also I would suggest that sea units do too much damage when attacking coastal hexes given the scale of the hexes.

Product is very polished and brings back fond memories, will keep trying.

I too had that impression on my first playthrough. But on my second, it was much more easier and thought that the game had the right difficulty for normal level (Colonel). And also like you I had the same difficulty with Kriegsmarine. But again on the second playthrough I used a different tactic approach and the result was the opposite.

One curious poll would be to know the age of PzC players and wargames in general. I bet that we'll find older people than any most of other computer gaming genres.
