Choice of Army

Post by lonehorseman »

Not having bought the rule set or books yet I want to just check out the efficiency of differing sub periods before I invest in the related list book (Seeing as it is rather an investment for an impoverished student ;) ). Specifically the period of the enlightenment with specific focus on Brandenburg Prussia. How are these armies in open competition or would you say the TYW period takes the prizes there?

There have not yet been any tournaments since "Duty & Glory" came out.

I plan to use an army from this period in two tournaments over the next few months - I think they are as good as (but not better than) the TYW period armies. But that has yet to be proven.

Specifically, their infantry is more cost effective, but their horse are not as good.
