Longbows shooting

Despite being an enthiastic New Kingdom Egytian player, I question why longbows shooting have a + against armoured cavalry and armoured knights but not against chariots. Killing one chariot horse with an arrow would strike me as more chaos-causing as the chariot swerved than downing a single destrier.
Neither Thutmoses or Ramesses III really fancy leading their chariot divisions against the English at Crecy!!!!!!!!
