Rumanian/Hungarian axis allies

Post by kevini1000 »

The manual says that if I DOW Yugoslavia then they will join the axis immediately. I tried this prior to there activation and they did not join. The additional corps joined them but hat was it. So did I miss something.

Thanks

You have to wait until AFTER the 2nd Vienna Award has been done in August 1940. That makes Bulgaria, Romania and Hungary be more inclined to engage in the Balkans.

oh ok, My main reason for going early is to get the oil earlier from both countries. I ran the axis out of oil in mid 1942 in my first game. I feel I did everything right but I used too much oil :(

This is usually an issue if you have too many ARM and TACs.... Or if you dont use your Strat rail enough.

Oil is tough but it makes for a more interesting and realistic game. To save as much Oil as possible, invest in "General" and focus on Industry from the start of the game, that should enable your Mechs, Planes, ships, and tanks to be more efficient in their use of oil.
