How to supply troops when we cross seas ?

I'm a new player of CEAW (with GS) and I wonder how to supply my troops when I invade England or Norway with Germany. I always fail because of lack of supplies... Can you help me or give me a hint ?

you need to capture a city on the coast

And until you capture a city or a port keep a surface ship next to your landing zone...that will at least provide supply 1

To be specific a DD, BB, or CV surface vessel.

And airborne units have supply level 1 regardless.
