Meneuver and scenerio games

Post by lentulus »

I tend to play scenerios rather than equal-points games, and to emphasize maneuver over "everyone starts lined up, lets have a bash"

Any thoughts on the suitability of AoW to maneuver games?

In my view AoW is well suited to such games.

For example, in a campaign game, it would be entirely possibly for a force of horse archers to nip in against a much larger army, inflict significant damage, then retreat off the battle-field.

Because of the way the "Demoralisation" system worked this sort of thing wasn't really possible in DBM.
