Will the Afrika Campaign be part in the final version???

Post by Steakenglisch »

Maybe with the invasion of Crete as start, if decisive victory than a fictive scenario invasion of malta maybe, to secure the supply lines from italy to africa, if winning this scenario the start prestige in afrika can be raised ... only an idea. :-)

And of course other maps, after taking cairo and the suez canal, like establishing of another advance into the udssr ... taking the oil fields ... and if it goes bad ... the first allied Landing Operation before sicily ... afrika ...
there is so much potential in this game!

It will be done, but definitely in a separate patch, upgrade or expansion:
When we do it, we'll do it right. Whole new desert terrain, desert camouflage for units, more units unique for the setting (esp Italian I presume), etc. Personally I look forward to doing that, but it would've been too much additional work for the initial game. We're already working hard to complete all the other features on our wishlist! :)

Great!! The North Africa campaign was my favorite part of WW2, gaming-wise. So much room and so few supplies made for some interesting tactics. Also, the fighting surrounding the NA campaign, Naval battles, where to fight considerations, timing (strategic), etc.

Can't wait!!
Thanks,

In the mean time, the Italians will at least have a little bit of representation in an upcoming MP map: Bersaglieri and the Bear.

Bersaglieri and the Bear
Every time I see that title, I can't help but think of "BJ and the Bear." Nice. :)
