Free Leaders?

Beyond the initial ones that start at the invasion of Poland, are there other 'freebies' that come up as the game progresses? I don't think I have ever seen any...but I haven't made it too far into '43 with the beta testing. If so, are they listed in the manual? I saw the ones for the later scenarios...do those pop up when I start with the Polish invasion?

If you start the 1939 scenario you get:
Germany: Rundstedt
France: Gamelin
UK: Auchinleck
Italy: Graziani (when Italy activates)
USA: Devers (when USA activates)
USSR: Timoshenko (when USSR activates)
Free France: De Gaulle and Leclerc (when Free France activates)
