Should I make the plunge?

Post by arisaka »

Hello,

I was looking at the core rulebook and I was wondering if I should even buy it with V2 coming sometime soon. Will all of my books and armies be obsolete when it is released like many other miniature wargames? Should I just wait?

Thanks,
Josh

I very much doubt you will see a v2 rule book in production for at least 12 months - the beta testing has only just started and when that is complete there are the lead times for publishing, etc.

In relation to army list books there are no plans to revise all 13, at worst there will be some form of amendments published IMO. I doubt more than a handful will be amended in a major way - at least in terms of figure requirements. This should mean your armies are OK.
