FRAPS recording program

Is Panzer Corps neither a DirectX or OpenGL application?
FRAPS doesn't seem to recognize PzC and does not allow me to record the gameplay.
Is there a possibility to enable FRAPS recording of PzC?

Obviously any video made of the beta would comply with the NDA, any uploaded clip would have strict privacy settings. I'm more interested in being able to record the game, edit the video to show suggestions for 'how it could look' without actually trying to describe it in paragraphs and still images.

On a related note, taking screenshots in PzC, is this going to be an implemented feature? The current method seems to require a third party program (hit printscreen, then paste into photoshop) but it would be nice if you could just hit an F key or printscreen and a screenshot jpeg is generated in a Screen Shots folder.

Indeed, PzC does not use DirectX or OpenGL, so not sure if FRAPS can be made to work with it. You should have more luck with generic tools for recording video of your Windows desktop.

As for screenshots, I agree that a special hot key or something would be nice. I'll see what I can do.
