Brazil and Allied air rebasing

Post by trulster »

In GS you still have to ship aircraft to Africa in sometimes risky operations. Historically the huge Allied air forces in Africa/Italy arrived through massive rebasing through Brazil, Ascension island and Dakar. Perhaps this should be implemented by placing an extra air base in the southwest of the map, after all Caribbean bases allowed some Allied air power to project in that area. Or might this make Axis sub efforts too difficult? Anyway adding two BBs to Axis and one to Allies has already boosted Axis naval power.

And the US gets a CV as well. So it should balance out.

Ah yes, forgot about that one.

Anyway, since the Greenland-Iceland route is in, why not also the southern route which IIRC saw a lot heavier use?
