Alt+Tab and then back to game darken colours

I frecuently use the alt+tab function while i play BA to switch between applications but when i return to game all the colours are way darker. If i quit the program and start again the effect is gone, only occurs when i switch to another program while playing.

Seriously though, I do the same all the time and don't have that problem. It must be specific to your hardware. What graphics do you have? Updated drivers? What kind of monitor?

ATI 4600...maybe it´s the drivers, would try to update. Not a great issue but maybe i wasn´t the only one.

I used to have a problem with some game that was very dark on an aging CRT that was gamma related. The ATI CCC allowed me to have a gamma setting just for that game. Your problem sounds different though.

I'll take a look at the way we reset the device. It all has to be done manually, so it's easy to forget some state. DX10 and 11 do it all for you - bloody luxury!
