What order should I install all four?

I have purchased from Matrix, FoG (download) and the CD versions of RoR, IF and SaS. (I got the three and then realized I didn't have the original game, hence the download on FoG). I'm having an issue installing them. FoG installs fine, but the others don't. It seems like they do, but when I go to play them, the only icon on the desktop is the one for FoG and others aren't there and I can't find those games on my computer anywhere. What order should I install them and any updates? Thank you. Also, when they are installed correctly, will I have seperate icons on the desktop or only one for FoG and then the other games will be available through FoG? Thank you.


Windows 7 64 bit, AMD Phenom II X4 955 Processor, 4 Gigs Ram, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 470.

If you have everything installed correctly and updated you should see this in the bottom left hand corner of your screen (except for SOA which you did not list):



Everything runs from the desktop shortcut for FoG.

I recently did a reinstall on my Windows 7 notebook, and this is what worked for me:

1. field_of_glory_1.01

2. rise_of_rome_1.1.0

3. storm_of_arrows

4. ImmortalFire-SetupRelease-v130

5. field_of_glory_fullpatch_1.3.3 (and then you should run the updater)

6. Swords_and_Scimitars-SetupRelease-v140 (it will install FoG 1.4 first and then SAS, and then you should run the updater)

I think the original poster may have mis-understood the concept of the army packs. RoR, IF, and SaS are not games but army pacs. There is only one "game" program and that is "Field of Glory". The army pacs are not games. The army pacs once installed are accessable through the main game as DAG and icons that can be used when playing scenarios or using the scenario designer. There are no desktop icons for the army pacs.

Lol...okay now I feel like a moron! I think the problem is solved. Once I installed the updates to FoG, all the army pacs can indeed be seen and played. Thanks for all the help guys.

You're not alone. At one time or another we have all felt like morons while playing this game. But it's a great game.
