Villages, settlements, churches . . .
Another request. Would it be possible to add a small selection of buildings to the scenario editor at some stage? They could be classified as "impassable" so they would not affect gameplay at all (except blocking line of sight, I suppose) - basically they would just look good. If I knew how to do all this "modding" business I would have a go myself. I appreciate the developers have a million and one other things to do, but might this be added to the bottom of the list? Some fairly generic peasant huts would do for starters. Unless, of course, one of our little band of scenario builders knows how to do this.

Yes, it would need some thought about how to introduce them if troops could occupy the buildings. But initially, just having them as impassable terrain that blocked line of sight would be a big improvement.tonymcenery wrote:Building would be good - though it would also be good if they could be occupied. There were battles where buildings played a role in this way - Dyrrachion was one. However, I guess that is when things become complicated, as we would then want to set buildings on fire ....

That would be good for use in positioning your forces so you can use them (a small village) to anchor a flank or impede an enemy's route of advance. You can also use water but the "buildings" would add some additional game flavor.stockwellpete wrote:Yes, it would need some thought about how to introduce them if troops could occupy the buildings.
