Commanders seperate from army?/supply stations?/Air operatin

Post by mrdozer2379 »

was wondering if it could be an option or just an idea but have commanders instead of HQS with a commander.
They could be cheaper to buy as there purpose would be to command units not supply them. This way we could see commanders in the game more because when i play sc i never send an HQ to egypt for UK as its to expensive and its game over there.

Supply stations is the idea of haveing a base of operation were your supply is stored and distrbuted to your army basically like HQS in sc1. So this way africa and USSR could get supply without the risk of losing a commander.

Air operating i mean as when Rommel was being beaten in africa he flew out not lets get HQ to port then leave. This would give commanders the ability to move from one operation to another to help command certain fronts.

We already have that... and more. Comanders are unit attachments and can also be reassigned (for a cost) to enable transferring between fronts.

Some more info from an earlier post:
- Commanders are unit attachments so are always deployed into an existing unit, meaning you can for instance deploy Rommel in your favourite tank. Beware if your unit gets destroyed or retreats, because the Commander will then be injured and out of action for a random long time. Commanders both have leadership atribute which will increase effectiveness of nearby units within range and some of them also have special combat bonuses (ground attack, ground defence) affecting only the unit they command
