I have the base game and wonder if it's worth getting an expansion ?

I'm hoping they have a special on the expansions ?

They are all very good value, in my opinion, so I suppose it depends on where your main historical interests lie. Mine is with "Storm of Arrows" which allows me to play 100 Years War and Wars of the Roses stuff. The armies are ver well-balanced in this expansion pack.

I would suggesst Rise of Rome or Immortal Fire if you like Classical period.

It really depends on your period interests. I agree with deeter. If you can buy 1 then either ROR or IF. If you can buy 2, get both of them unless your have a high interest in the High Medieval period. Then get SOA. If the crusades floats your boat, then S&S.

I think the league is mostly ancient games, with swords and scimitars coming out recently thats the new toy so lots of challenge games there. I have all the expansions so far and have enjoyed them all. FOG R for the TT released recently so a lot of my time is spent assembling and painting mini's again, less time for the virtual battle fields.

Immortal Fire was my choice as it looks like the most for what you pay.
