How you will handle entrenchments?

How you will handle entrenchments in fortress like, for instance, Maginot line? You will have it as separate unit value (like SC2 game has) or it will be implemented in unit defense value (like some kind of modification, for example; defense value of unit in fortress are automatically doubled)?

All resources and terrain have attack penalties and armour penalties. In addition, units entrench when being stay put in same land hex.

So, for instance an example

Mountain has
Attack Efficiency : 40%
Armour Efficiency : 50%

and entrenchment has
Attack Efficiency : 90%
Armour Efficiency : 100%

That means if a tank attacks into entrenched mountain then the attack value (both fire attack and shock attack) will be modified by terrain and entrenchment factors

Attacking Tank : 0.4*0.5*0.9*1= 0.18 = 18%

Say the defender is also a tank, it will also get armour penalty.

Defending Tank : 0.5*1=0.5= 50% so the defending tank also get a large penalty.
