So how many people reguarly play this game online and what do they think of it?
Reviews said online was good.
My version of HC:Great battles of Rome for PS2 had no online which was a pitty but if I decide to get this for PS3/PC then I would like to know if people play this online, thnx.

Its never really reached critical mass yet. We get people posting for games every now and then but not enough to get teh commnuity going - we need a few active players to bring the wider community in so maybe you can be a pioneer. Designing armies off line is fun

I've had this game a few days now and just tried multiplayer.

No one online

Might this be a firewall issue or are online players thin on the ground ATM?

As a long time Totalwar online player I know that for some reason these sort of games get few players online when compared to FPSers. Pitty, as this game seems to be well suited for multiplayer. The Totalwar games are more and more about how quick you are with the mouse these days. I think Great Battles Medieval would give the stratigic player a better game online.

Anyway, love the oneplayer campaigns.
