Detached Shot ??

1. When MF shot is detached from pike/shot BGs, do the detached MF cost the original 8pts each (for shot in BG w pike) or do they go down to the 7pts each for unprotected shot?

Points only apply when choosing your army.

Detaching is part of deployment (as is dismounting, where horsemen dismount as foot types that would be much cheaper if purchased directly. Similarly, if you buy naval and can't deploy them, they don't go on the table.
