Assorted army-list oddities
Komnenan Byzantine (later):
Armenian spearmen has the same graphics for MF and HF.
Crusader MF crossbowmen shows mixed-unit graphics.
Cilician Armenian (later):
A few oddly named units. "Nobles2" & "less well equipped cavalry".
Frankish mercenary spearmen look a little on the small side.
Syrian States (1246):
Foot javelinmen uses the same graphics as the archers.
Anything else I find of this sort will be posted in same thread.

Med. Bulgarian (early)
Odd names again. "Cuman better equipped"
Greek Allies MF archers has 2 figures, should be 3.
Vlach archers are all Poor, Unprotected. Presumably one each of LF and MF should be Protected.
Ilkhanid Mongols:
Odd names. Best equipped and Less well equipped Mongol cavalry.
Med. Cypriot (early):
Turcopoles has an asterisk next to its bow-designation. It's also in the TT army-book, but I haven't a clue what it signifies.
Mamluk Egyptian (early):
Sultan and Amir Mamluk when dismounted shows wrong graphics (looks like dismounted Ghilman MF)
So much for the easy to spot errors. Next, army composition.....

THESE WILL BE REVIEWED AND SHOULD MAKE IT INTO THE 137 UPDATE
Ilkhanid Mongols:
Odd names. Best equipped and Less well equipped Mongol cavalry.
THE NAMES ARE WHAT THEY ARE. SOME ARE BETTER EQUIPPED AND SOME ARE NOT

THIS IS BOW * YOU NEED TO LOOK IN THE MISSILE WEAPONS SECTION IN HELP
Mamluk Egyptian (early):
Sultan and Amir Mamluk when dismounted shows wrong graphics (looks like dismounted Ghilman MF)
THE GRAPHIC IS OK

My point was that there seems to be little idea in naming them separately.keithmartinsmith wrote:

Other types with varying degrees of armor doesn't have the distinction, nor does the TT list names differ between Unprot. and Prot.
I just thought it looked odd, but seeing as this is an aesthetic choice, I can certainly live with it

I did. Looked under missile troops, missile combat, troop types and in the release notes.

We're sure it made it into the revised helpfile?
Either that, or I'm just being denser than usual.
Oops, sorry you're right.Mamluk Egyptian (early):
Sultan and Amir Mamluk when dismounted shows wrong graphics (looks like dismounted Ghilman MF)
THE GRAPHIC IS OK
The image is correct, it's the list that is wrong.
Dismounted Mamluks are rated as Heavy Foot, not MF as they should be.
Sorry for the confusion.

Fixed the issue with Mamluks dismounted as HF as part of the next update.
1) Some Mongol Calvary Graphis show the units holding spears but they are equipped with only swords & Bows
A common feature of FOG. The models look as they are commonly depicted in real life. But the weapon types represent the real life fighting capabilities. So most mounted troops in S&S carry spears and lances as they really did but they fight with bow and sword.
2) In a Mongol Multiplayer game my Syrian foot archers are invisible - base cricles but no unit graphics
3) When I dismount some Mongol archers and make them MF they also become invisible
For bot the above - There is a known issue with some graphics refreshing. We are working on that. Saving an re-loading the game always fixed the issue for now.
