Fall In 2010 Results

There were two FOG A/M tournaments at Fall In this year. The first was a 650 pt Mini-Theme; the second was a 900 point Open. All were played in 15mm.


The Friday Field of Glory Ancients/Medieval 650pt Mini-Theme had 8 players in 15mm.
Players could select from any list in Immortal Fire or Rise of Rome. There were 3 rounds of play.

1st: AL Applegate – Late Seleucid 56 points
2nd: Danny Weitz – Late Seleucid 49 points
3rd: John Loy – Graeco Bactrian 48 points
4th: David Dietrich – Graeco Bactrian 37 points
5th: Phil Garduchi – Parthian 30 points
6th: Mark Bumula – Lydian 25 points
7th: Joseph DiCamillo – Late Rep Roman 24 points
8th: Kalpesh Doshi – Late Carthoginian 11 points

Non playing Ref (keeping the numbers even): Bill McCampbell


The Saturday Field of Glory Ancients/Medieval 900pt Open had 10 players in 15mm.
Players could select from any list in the published FOG A/M books. There were 3 rounds of play.

1st: Walt Leach – Mongols 62 points
2nd: Aubrey Hopkins – Early Hungarians 38 points
3rd: Jeff Wiltrout – Tupi 35 points
4th: Joseph DiCamillo – Late Rep Roman 33 points
5th: Bill McCampbell – Medieval Castilian 32 points
6th: Tom McMillan – Foederate Roman 31 points
6th: Danny Weitz – Aztecs 31 points
8th: Paul Georgian – Nik Byzantines 27 points
9th: Phil Gardochi – Swiss 25 points
10th David Dietrich – Graeco Bactrian 16 points

Bill,
Did you play 3.5hours in the 900 pt tourney?
Any problems with matches not reaching conclusion?

Yes - played approx 3.5 hours.

I would say most games finished with clear winners, there were just less blow outs.

If you look at the Scores, most were fairly close. Not counting Walt and his Mongo Hordes....)
