Regimental gun Marker

Post by jonphilp »

As the regimental gun markers do not impede game play, is it acceptable to use 20mm x20mm x 2mm bases for each individual gun. I have found that the Peter Pig 15mm very light guns fit the 20x 20 bases from Magister Miltum( no artillerymen figures) and I think it looks good in front or to the side of an infantry regiment .

Thanks for the input. Do you have any plans for a Renaissance figure scale review on your excellent website.

Surely a single light artillery piece on the standard 40mm * 40mm basing could be used to represent a regimental gun. Its just a marker and is moved out of the way when real troops need the space so cant see any reason. They look fine - see the pictures of games in progress in the fogR Rulebook with regimentla guns to the front of their pike/shot BGs
