6mm?

Post by Saurocet »

Anyone playing FoG:R using 6mm figures?

If so, how did you decide to mount the figures? On bases for 15mm, but doubling the number of figures per base? Right now, I have two small ECW armies based for Polemos and am considering remounting them, but not really sure how to proceed.

Wondering if there is a standard for 6mm.

Hammy plans to do it and I am considering it.

Base them on the 15mm stands for a nice mass effect.

I'm considering another option.

My complete set of 6mm ECW figures is composed of two small armies for Polemos. Roughly 16 stands of infantry (36 figures each), 24 stands of cavalry (9 figures each), 6 stands of commanders (3 figures each), and 6 artillery pieces.

I'm seriously considering cutting all distances in half and mounting figures per base according to the 15mm standard. So, a heavy infantry base would be 20mmx8mm (or more reasonably 20mmx10mm). It would get 4 figures. MUs would be a half-inch, or maybe 1 centimeter. The whole table top would be played on a 3'x2' area. Movement trays would be easy to build from scratch.

Just a thought. But it would give me more stands using existing figures.
