Hotkeys / Shorcuts as of 1.3.10
Copy and paste this into notepad and save to your desktop
Hotkeys
M – Toggles the overhead map view.
TAB – Cycles through units which have not moved yet this turn.
ESC – Opens the menu.
J – Toggles the mini map.
F2 – Takes a screenshot and dumps it to My Docs\My Games\BBCBA.
1 – Shows the tiles the current unit can see and which ones it can shoot.
SHIFT – When using the bombard command this shows the spread area for
the bombard attack.
ENTER (Return) - Casualty list
Editor
R – Rotates the current unit or object 90 degrees.
Pg Up/Pg Down – Free rotation of the selected object.
Home/End – Scale up/down the size of the selected object.
F – Toggles whether a unit is Fixed (free) or optional (bought on the force
selection screen).
O - Toggles Damage mode for objects.
DEL – When holding down Delete a left click will remove a loaded unit and
then the unit itself.
SHIFT – When holding Shift you can drag units around.
CTRL + left click - raise height
CTRL + right click - lower height
Y - Hitting Y allows you to then left click the two opposite corners of the area you want to map out. You can then left click to tweak your area and it will reset the closest corner. If you then go to the new map, it will have the values set up to make the playable area the area you have chosen. Hitting Y will toggle you out of it.
(j2d Note: you may press the Y key if you are not yet frustrated)

Don't forget the new key "toggle" for the EDITOR ... Y

Does this mean you can make a huge map (on which the entire campaign will run) and then toggle a smaller map for specific scenarios? or is it just to work on that part of the map for terrain features?
Quick start ...
- In the Editor now .... Hit the "Y" key
- Move the cursor over a tile, left click
- Move the mouse over another tile (should see green hi-light expand), click the left mouse button to set
- Goto MAP RESIZE BUTTON (lower left.. + button) ... open the menu ... should see new dimension values
- Select the RESIZE CURRENT MAP Button ... will ask (you sure) ... yup ....
- Viola!
EDIT : MAX MAP SIZE is still 64x64 if your selection was bigger
