Serial Number

I tried to install SoA on my new notebook but an error message occured telling my that the serial number is wrong. I have registered SoA at Slitherine and the number I typed in is the same as on "my page". Any ideas what may be wrong? Thanks in advance.

This has never happened if the serial is good so I suggest a copy & paste to avoid any typos. Check you are using the right serial for the right game. If it still doesn't work check the serial on My Page is correct i.e. matches your serial in your purchase confirmation mail.

The serial number on my page is the same I have entered when I tried to install SoA on the notebook. The problem is that the purchase confirmation mail is lost. Any way to recover it from Slitherine?

Are you able to check the serial number on "my page" and compare it to the one of the lost confirmation mail? I think you must have a receipt of my purchase of SoA and I hope it will be possible. Thanks in advance.

I can look up your serial but it doesnt help much because only valid serials can be registered so it wont tell me anything useful unfortunately. Which installer do you have out of interest?

Sorry, what do you mean by "installer"? If I understand you right only valid serial numbers can be registered. That's what I have done. But when I enter this one while trying to install SoA it tells me that it is not valid.

Can you tell me which installer you have and I'll check it here with your serial. I'm assuming you are copying and pasting a blank space or somethign like that somewhere which is making it fail the serial check as it must match exactly.

The issue is it cant register to the forum if it doesnt work in the installer as they use the same set of data to check against.
