Last Bulge Scenario "Final Pursuit" (I think)

I've played it 4 times and it ended with the same result each time. How does one win it?

The reinforcements seem to come in at random times and I even get 2 sets sometimes. Unfortunately, they enter the field so far back and so late that they can't actually join the fight. the tigers generally start to roll as you approach the truck yard. Many tanks of mine catch fire and the Tigers, more often than not, turn the corner against my one Jackson and roast it BEFORE the Jackson retaliates. I sometimes can kill a Tiger by kicking it in the a$$,

So, if you beat this scenario, how did you do it? Apparently the US reinforcements get triggered somehow. It is unclear to me how.

I know this is an old thread, so I apologize in advance for bumpinging it up.

I found this game a couple months back and have defeated all the scenarios in the first 3 campaigns. Including all the achievements. However, I am quite stuck on "Final Pursuit"

I have accomplished the kill 35 units and 3 tigers achievements, but that is as far as I can get. The 10th truck seems to run and hide deep in the enemy territory. And getting all the VP's (even the 5 needed to beat senario) have eluded me. I just run out of turns. The reinforcements are so far back they very rarely get much play. Trying to divide and do a round about has also led me to falling short. I'm racking my brain for some ideas. Any help is much appreciated! Thanks!!

Think I got it. I moved my infantry up quickly and entrenched myself as far northeast as I could. By the time the Tigers came the were spending lots of time on the infantry units there. Used the tanks to move rapidly up the west and capture the northern most VPs and came back south to some exhausted Tigers and finished them off. Even had 4 turns to spare. Hope that helps anyone else stuck there.

Now to buy the expansion campaigns or Battle Academy 2. Hmmmmm...... What to do...what to do?

I'm in the exact situation you were in Amused79. I've been stuck on this one for a little bit and came to the forums for some help on finishing the scenario. Thanks for posting your solution. Fingers crossed I can finally get past it!

Gfmr, I hope you figured it out. It gets easier the more times you play the scenario due to knowing the enemy locations. Just bypass the infantry units on the east side that are in towns. With a little luck you should get it. All the best!!

Damn, glad I looked, I tried this scenario over 3 times already and even bumped the experience down. I am unable to kill those King Tigers. I think having three or more kings in the area is quite to much for reality. heck, this is a great game.

I finally managed to finish this scenario after a few tries. I even managed to kill all the King Tigers! I'm glad to be done with it now.

I finally did this with the advice from above, I didn't kill all the King Tigers - by the way what happened to the Tiger tank in the game?

Gfmr. You start Market Garden? Just finished it. Very tough. Half way through Sealion now. Def easier.

No, I'm on Blitzkrieg France, currently doing the scenario where you cross the river into French defences. Another tough one!
