QRS available ?

Post by sgtsteiner »

Hi

Just got FOGR and TYW lists today :D

Is there a downloadable/printable QRS available anyplace yet or too early ?

Cheers

Will there be a FoG R section on the official FoG site? Or will it have its own site?

I should mention that the QRS in the back of the rule book have exactly the same wording as the tables in the main rules - which should hopefully avoid some confusion compared with the FOGAM QRS.

I can confirm from experience that Richard is correct. It becomes seemless.

Any news on a ETA for this to be put up on the site?

The ones in the back of the book are good but having a PDF version would be better. :)

Hopefully it will include the Ready Reckoner and the FULL Turn Sequence as well.

I would like to add my voice for those who are requesting this somewhere. I would say that the FOGR book, in terms of production quality alone alone, is the 'nicest' wargame rule book I have ever had and I have had a fair few! It is a lovely boook.

Therefore I don't want to ruin the appendix pages by poring and turning them feverishly in the heat of battle looking up my POAs and cohesion test modifiers.

I am 'in the trade' so get mine at trade price but even so the 25 quid price tag also makes me want to keep the book in good condition so a detachable or printable QRS would be lovely!

Do we have the authors permission to photocopy or scan the pages at the back of the book for our own use ?

Yes - for personal use.

I've found the pages in the back of the rules to be fine: a readable size, clear (no frilly stuff to waste space). The order is a tad odd, but that was probably due to chart sizes fitting on the pages, and once you know it, it's easy to flip to.

The POAs are fairly easy really. I find it's mostly looking and searching for a POA + or a CT + that you need and want but you know really isn;t there!!
