ontinued save problems

I love the game but am about to throw it in the bag. For the umteenth time I have been trying to finish the "Final Push" scenaario. I try to save before the end and cannot. Esc brings me to the save screen in which I cannot enter a save name. I cannot find the updater file in the Windows (XP) directory. Ihave a high end Dell XPS laptop with 4G RAM and iG video card. Its a dual core (3.2 MHz) machine. Also, when I start a game I have let the first screen (pick your resolution) flash checking for updates for 1/2 hour. Nothing comes up. WHERE IS 1.3.7? My battle start screen says Version 1.3, Build 1.3.6. Come on Tech Support, you are supposed to help.

I have a cheap low tech home built, XP Home, Zonealarm, Avast. Took about 3 minutes to get and install 136-137 then another 3 minutes for 138-139. I just now did that.

Each time there is a change I have to tell Zonealarm to allow BA to connect.

The problem is probably on your end.

If nothing is coming up on the launcher within a few seconds then it is most likely that the BA.EXE has to be re-permitted on whichever firewall you are using. This is because if an EXE changes firewalls will tend to re-block them.

Which firewall or security software are you using?
