Possible Bug with Upgrades

Post by _Augustus_ »

Heya,

Something fishy going on here:
Image

Before and after the upgrade.

The unit purchase menu shows Air Attack value of two in green. I've yet to buy a MEC and see whether new ones also have Air Attack of only 1 when actually fielded. I'd assume so.

Just a graphics issue or do the units actually fight with the value of 1 against air units instead of 2? Maybe a typo in a file where the upgrades are defined?

Sincerely,

_augustus_ //BTW Does anyone have any idea does the jump from 1 to 2 even give any notiecable protection from the air units? Or we my hopes of getting at least some protetion from the stukas in vein anyway...

I'd still be interested in hearing views on this if people out there have a good feel on the subject. Does the jump from 1 to 2 make noticable difference.

Yes it does. You won't take much less damage, but you inflict more flak damage so the bombers have to repair more often.
