Saved game corrupted file

Hello

After 8 hours of quite entertaining gameplay of this fine new strategy game, i was able to complete the Desert Campaign and was ready to assault the Normandy Beaches. Sadly, i tried to save my game and the game crashed, and unluckily i didn´t have any other saved file for my game.

When i try to reload that saved file, the game just keeps crashing.

I would greatly appreciate if there is any way to recover this saved game file or if not possible, if there is at least any way to unlock the Normandy Campaign to keep discovering new challenges without the need to replay again almost the whole Desert Campaign.

As soon as you complete a single mission on the desert campaign the Normandy campaign should unlock. So worst case is you need to complete a single mission.

Ah - or you say you crashed without exiting? Where in the game were you when you saved?

Crashed without exiting, sadly. I was about to start my first Normandy mission. (Mission selection screen)

But you say just after completing one mission in Desert Campaign the Normandy one unlocks? Even the first one? Good news in this case then as i would just lose my achievements (oh well...=( )

If memory serves your achievements get saved at a different point, so you should be OK!
