hey,

this is the second game i bought from here since yesterday and i am stunned that neither is working properly.

anywho...here the problem:

when trying to save a game it crashes with this note:

For the record, I get the same error when hitting ESC. Are we the only two who bought the game so far?

Sorry you are having problems. Phil will be online later today to try and help. There are hundreds of people already playing so this issue only effects a small minority but we will find out what it is and get it fixed ASAP.

Just to check you have the latest drivers for your graphics card?

Looks like the same nVidia/DirectX problem as I have now worked around. I will get a patch out today.

Not sure why we didn't see this with anyone in the beta, but looking at the users, it might only affect certain localised windows versions?

the other game i have purchased with a similar save game crash issue is MHC-Europe at war gold. I posted in the tec-support forum of that game and someone suggested something i will try tonight as well.
