Languages and Manual
Hello I downloaded my copy of "Battelfield Academy" and I have two questions on the matter.
1 .- In the presentation of the product, indicates that the game is available in several languages. What do I do to make the game appear in Spanish?
2 .- I have noticed that apart from the tutorial there is no playbook at what is it?
Thank you.

It is only in English - where did it lead you to believe otherwise?
Edit - I searched around to see why you might think this and very sorry but you are right. I have updated it to be English only. This was setup in Jan 2009 when a multi language release was planned but we changed to English only initially. Spanish will be coming soon and we'll make sure you can bolt it in.
Please contact me at info@slitherine.co.uk if you need any further assistance.

Excuse my error, the game manual if available. I had not seen.
I hope soon to have a patch to adapt the game to other languages.
It is a fantastic game and other games produced by you (CEAW, FoG, CNAW)
I also hope soon to see the new Commander Great and the Renaissance Field of Glory for PC.
Thanks, great work

Are the battlefield promotions and their effects covered in the manual ???
And will promoted units be available from one scenario to the next ?
I'm in the first campaign but found no clue what the promotions will do and if the experienced units are available at the beginning of the next scenario.

There is no carryover. Having made games like this in the past we find that goo dplayers tend to end a scenario with more high ranking units, making teh next scenario easier, meaning they end with even higher ranking units and you get a snowball effect. It gets easier and easier for good players and harder and harder for weaker players. To keep the game fun for everyone we felt it best to avoid any carryover.
own scenarios..
While creating your own scenarios, you can add to the following ones elite units!manie_de wrote:your upgraded elite unit on the last turn.
The scenarios are actually small skirmishes, so you don't lose your whole division!
The survivors will be your experienced soldiers, in the coming mission!
