data/Squads csv file..

While reading the modding portal (very good idea!) just a suggestion:

The 2. point in the quick start guide is about the squads.excel file!

I think especially for beginners it will be better to explain which one of the excel files is ment, while there are 2 of them in the data ordner.

Everyone shouldn't/couldn't know what with "csv. file" means!

Suggestion:The one with a on the symbol or something like that!! (I am not the expert for that!)

The game loads the csv file, which is raw text. I actually edit things in the xls file as I find it easier to track everything we need to in that format and then copy the data over to the csv file to load in game.

The simple answer is that the csv file is the one to use. We will probably delete the xls or hide it away somewhere for more experienced users.
