How does one know about these tourneys in advance, etc.?

I am interested in joining one of these tourneys, but I have no idea when they start, what the details are, what the deadlines are for joining, etc.

Is there a central location for finding this stuff out?

This is the central location, this and the Campaigns Forum.

I guess there are 3 ways to get in them...

1) Post a PM to the tournament organiser, e.g. Pantherboy for the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, or Peter Garnett for The Lost World, etc. and ask to be included when a spot becomes available,

2) Post on the forum stating the same.

3) Watch the forums and often there will be a call for new players. Just answer one of those.
