The usual cannot load this game as it was done on a previous

Hi,

Been reading through the forums, trying to find out how to fix this but cannot find it im playing a pbem game with a friend and he has just sent me the first turn so i went to load multiplayer game and clicked on the save files and then it just came up with this game cannot be nloaded as it was created on a previous version we both brought the game on the same day so the versions must be the same although i cannot find anywhere where the version number acctually is, I have tried doing the file extention bit but that made no difference so im getting a bit stuck but i noticed alot of people had this and no real solutions am i just doomed?

Did you try to have your friend resend his turn to you?

The other did he rename a first turn from another version?

He has to start a new game and send that to you.
