Any chance of dealing with the problem with units disappearing when the yellow range triangle comes on?

It shouldn't do - tell us exactly which list and which unit.

It's a long standing problem that arose when the yellow triangles were introduced. It affects all armies but seems to happen only to certain users. Not everyone appears to have the problem
