Serial number required for installation from DVD?

I purchased the DVD version (for PC) of GBM a couple of months ago, and have been waiting for my new computer before installing the game. I now have my new Sony Vaio running Windows7. When I try to install the game I'm asked to enter a serial number? Where do I find this number? Was it in the order confirmation for my purchase? If so, I blew it 'cos I don't think I kept it. What should I do?

If you have the boxed version it is on the back of the manual if I remember correctly.
