Strange behaviour on evades in 1.2.8

Post by davouthojo »

Something I noticed - I surround a light unit, LH or LF to prevent it evading, then send a unit in to attack it's front, and it tries to evade, can't and prevents it's rear face to my attack. It should at least stay facing. This never happened before the patch.

Odd. I did the same thing, and was surprised to find that the unit did stay facing.

Personally, I am happy either way. If evading is their usual doctrine, it seems unlikely that the individual men would carefully check their escape rout before turning to run.

I think this could be rationalised either way.

I am happy for trapped evaders to be dogs' meat.
