Question Regarding Thematic Byzantine Army List

A couple of questions about the Thematic Byzantine army list.

* The Skoutatoi have 3/4 HF and 1/4 LF. What is the historical formation for this BG? As it stands I figure an 8 base unit would be 2 ranks of 4 spearmen and a third rank of 2 archers?

* Thematic Cavalry, with a rank of lancers and a rank of bowmen, do the bowmen have a different set of PoA in melee?

* Are Bow* armed cavalry with lancers considered to be shock troops?

* Are mixed units of bow and lancer armed cavalry such as Thematic Cavalry considered shock troops?

* Can Bow* armed cavalry evade if they are in a single rank?

* Can mixed units of bow and lancer armed cavalry such as Thematic Cavalry in a single rank evade?
