Can't find my equal

I've been playing this game for about a year now, but I still can't seem to find someone who plays at my skill level. I feel I fall right in the middle somewhere. Either I get curb stomped by players like Joe and Ronnie (which many of you just witnessed), or I beat the hell out of players who have been playing a while but still have no idea what they're doing. It is very frustrating. Just once I would like to have a game that actually comes down to the wire. I want to play as the Allies and have the Axis forces come within reach of Moscow or the Caucuses, but then beat them back.
