The question is whether we should or should not have the last sentence.They do not obey the normal deployment rules for mixed battle groups, but instead deploy with a front rank of spearmen and a 2nd rank of archers or corssbowmen. Any additional rank or partial rank can comprise either type.

Some wording changes required, I think
You have document control at present - so can you alter the Koreans accordingly in case I forget. Lancer banners do not obey the normal formation rules for mixed battle groups, but instead (except as a result of lost bases) must have a front rank of lancers and a 2nd rank with crossbow, bow or carbine. Any additional rank or partial rank can include either or both types.
