I've successfully installed the CEaW_v1.12_GS_expansion_v1.02, but when I apply the GSVer1.05-INC.zip file overtop the GS folder, my startup screen still shows GS 1.02. From what I can tell, the zip file contents correctly copied to the mod folder, and while the game runs, I'm not sure what version I am now using. I assume that version on the startup screen should not say 1.02 if 1.05 was applied.
Thanks

Re: Possible GS Mod 1.5 install issue
Are you sure you copied the v1.05 files to "*\Commander - Europe At War\Grand Strategy Mod" folder and not to the "*\Commander - Europe At War" folder?Killjoy12 wrote:I've successfully installed the CEaW_v1.12_GS_expansion_v1.02, but when I apply the GSVer1.05-INC.zip file overtop the GS folder, my startup screen still shows GS 1.02. Thanks - That must be my issue.
I actually have two subfolders:
CEaW - Grand Strategy
and
Grand Strategy Mod
I copied the zip file contents to the
CEaW - Grand Strategy and not the Grand Strategy Mod folder. So it sounds like that was the issue.
Just to be clear - Am I supposed to have those two folders?

Yes, you're suppose to have both folder; but only the "Grand Strategy Mod" folder contains the game files. The other folder, "CEaW - Grand Strategy" is for install and uninstall purposes.Killjoy12 wrote:Just to be clear - Am I supposed to have those two folders?
Glad you've got it working!Killjoy12 wrote:Ok - I see from another thread what my issue was. I had read that thread prior to doing the install, so I feel like a dunce.
Thanks again for the help!
