You have classified the boyars as Bow, swordsmen.

Does this accurately portray their behaviour in this period?

Bow*, light lancers, swordsmen would be an alternative classification, but would make the cavalry shock troops.

Information I have suggests they were now quite similar to the Russian cavalry, quite ill equipped (especially in armour), a bit timid and less "skirmishy" than before (hence no LH).
