GS and animated movement

Post by borsook79 »

It may be a silly question, but - playing the standard version the movement of units is animated, showing the path the choose, but when I start GS 1.05 they just jump to their destination. Is there any way I can change GS behaviour?

I don't understand that. With my GS the units are moving along a path and we can see how they move. The only exception is subs because they dive when moving and can't be stopped by enemy units in the path. So subs jump from point to point.

The same about air units because they fly over enemy units. It was like that in the vanilla game too.

It's just the visuals, the move as if I had set to low end machine, but settings.txt is absolutetly the same for vanilla and GS... so I do not understand it too.

I managed to solve the problem by resetting settings.txt to default and choosing the option again in the interface. Now it works fine...
