Graphic Issue: Green Screen Upron Starting Game!

Hi, I am able to start the game and click on menus and play the game even.
But every screen is awefully green. Now I know this is a common problem of graphic cards for gamers but it's the 1st time I've seen it.
It only happens to CoW and the only related post I saw is posted in Legion & Legion Gold. Some1 had the exact same issue as I am seeing with Legion.
So I tried Legion but I dont have this problem IF I play the game full screen. But i get the same issue if I enable full screen.

What version of the game do you have?

Also, what are your system specs?

Running CoW v1.15
Systems got 3G RAM, Core2 Duo 2.5G, ATI V5700 adaptor

Can you try adjusting your desktop colour depth from 16 bit to 24 bit and see if it helps.

Tried both with 32 and 16 bit with no luck. Tried with compatibility mode with 256 color and 600*800 resolution with no luck. Also tried changing to each of the availale resolution from desktop.
The green always seem to be saturated when starting the game. But only affects CoW.

It sounds like the driver is mis-reporting a 565 display as being 555 (or the reverse). Have you updated to the latest driver version for your video card?
