How do I get units onto ships?

Post by HellenFort »

Hi, a rookie checking in :)

This is probably not a new topic, but since I can't find a search engine....

PLEASE, how can I get my troops in ships!?
I've done what the manual says: 'fresh' troops/tanks next next to one of my ports, ,lick on the unit and suggestions to move in any direction but onto the ship in port!

Hm...

Any help much appreciated

Thrilled by this game, by the way - very similar to the boardgame 'Axis and Allies', only a tad more complex

1. Select Unit. 2. Hit the load on transport button. 3. The unit is now on a transport.

Note: The unit must start it's turn next to a friendly port in order to be transported. Also, the example shown is from GS. If you're playing the vanilla game you will NOT be able to transport garrisons even if the start their turn adjacent to a friendly port. But, you will be able to transport all other ground and air units.

Also, in the example shown there is a naval unit in the port from which the unit embarks. This is just a coincident. That is, a naval unit is NOT required to embark a unit onto a transport, move the transport at sea or disembark a unit.
