FoG: The drinking game!! "Play badly - get rotten"

Post by Lycanthropic »

Design philosophy - Get smashed.
"Skull" - to partake in an alchoholic beverage with excessive abandon.

Setting up:-
Lose initiative - skull.
Setup a byzantine bowling alley - skull.
Remove a terrain piece - opponent skulls.
Charge phase:
Declare a charge and get intercepted - skull.
Evade and get caught - skull.
Evade off the table - half skull with a twist of lemon.
Getting charged while fragmented - skull.
Movement phase:
Fail a CMT - skull.
Get called out by your opponent for making a cheese or illegal move - skull.
Shooting phase:
Failing to shoot with a BG because your opponent split your dice - skull.
Failing a CT from shooting - skull.
Combat:
Getting flank charged - skull.
Failing a combat CT - skull.
Losing a commander - skull.

Setting up:-
Lose initiative - skull.
But get to move first
Setup a byzantine bowling alley - skull.
Just what I want
Remove a terrain piece - opponent skulls.
Just what I want. Better than hiding your army between a load of forrests
Charge phase:
Declare a charge and get intercepted - skull.
I have lancers, you don't, I'm still up
Evade and get caught - skull.
What, with lancers?
Evade off the table - half skull with a twist of lemon.
Save a point
Getting charged while fragmented - skull.
At last my lancers can evade
Movement phase:
Fail a CMT - skull.
My lancer cav can make a simple move anyway
Get called out by your opponent for making a cheese or illegal move - skull.
Prove it legal. Watch your opponent cry
Shooting phase:
Failing to shoot with a BG because your opponent split your dice - skull.
Which puts 2 BG in charge reach
Failing a CT from shooting - skull.
Means the gods want your disrupted lancers to charge to glory
Combat:
Getting flank charged - skull.
By a BG of superiors down to 2 bases and a BG of average in the front down to 3. No problem. The cataphracts survive due to the NZ national pastime of choking at important moments. Unfortunately the Romans fail no further death rolls. But the Tibetans do survive for only the second time.
Failing a combat CT - skull.
I get to break off. Yippee.
Losing a commander - skull.
Officers deserve to die. Thats what they are paid for.

I like the idea of drinking though. Why make excuses?

The concept lacks a bit of ambition - why wait until the PBI to start drinking?

Quite an interesting idea. Tournaments may be played only with a game per day, though.

Which means you'd get onto the serious drinking earlier...
