Hi there,

Am very new to this area and would like to know if there are any leagues or meetings for Field of Glory players in the Bath/Bristol area of the South West.

Hi, welcome to the forums.

The quick answer to your question is that yes there are.

The longer answer is that as I live in Manchester I am not an expert on the local detail. Check the list of tournaments, I think there is one in Somerset next month and I am sure there are others down that way.

I appreciate that it may be too far away but we do have a club in Clevedon (J20 of the M5) that meets every Friday night which a number of people from Bristol attend, let me know if you're interested and I'll provide more details.

Which side of Bath & Bristol are you? As Hammy mentioned the Clevedon club play FOG and meet on a Friday I think. A few of us play in in the Stroud area and meet up at Slimbridge (Tudor Arms) on a Monday for a variety of games including a fair bit of FOG.

You also have the Lincombe Barn group in Downend, Bristol that meet but not sure if they play FOG; http://www.bristolwargaming.co.uk/index.htm
